For many restaurants and various retailers, on Veterans Day (which falls on Monday, November 11), it is a time-honored tradition to offer veterans and military personnel free meals or great discounts. This year, we have found over 100+ chains that are honoring service members.

We have gathered locations all around the country so please do not be discouraged if you feel that you are in a smaller location that may not have any deals. Check the list! If you find one that is not listed, please share it with us so that we can be sure to add it and also have it in mind for next year.

We recommend calling ahead to make sure your local restaurants are participating. You should also ask what you need to bring to identify yourself if anything. Some will ask for a DD-214 or another proof of service, while others will let you show up in uniform!

Also note that tax and gratuity aren’t included for free meals, so please be sure to tip your server based on the original price of the meal or snack. And most importantly, thank you for your service.

1. 151 Coffee: Military personnel are invited to bring your family for free drinks on November 11.
2. 7-Eleven: The convenience store chain is offering free coffee of any size for Veterans Advantage members from November 8 through November 11.
3. 54th Street Grill: Veterans and active-duty military personnel can eat for free up to $12 when they dine-in on Veterans Day. Plus, you can honor a military member by sharing a photo of them with @54thStreet on Instagram for a chance to win a gift card to the restaurant.
4. Ahipoki: Veterans and active-duty military receive 50% off any bowl at all locations across Arizona and California on November 11. 
5. Another Broken Egg Cafe: Veterans and active-duty service members can enjoy a free Patriot French Toast Combo and coffee on November 11.
6. Applebee’s: For the last 12 years, Applebee’s restaurants have offered veterans a free meal on Veteran’s Day. Since this tradition started in 2008, they have served more than 9.8 million free meals. This year, Applebee’s will have a special Veterans Day Menu, which will include items like the Classic Bacon Cheeseburger, Chicken Tenders Platter, Fiesta Lime Chicken, and Double Crunch Shrimp, among others.
7. Bakers Square: Veterans and military with valid ID can enjoy a free meal at Bakers Square locations on Veterans Day 2019. Now through Veterans Day, Bakers Square will also raise funds for the Folded Flag Foundation. Bakers Square restaurants also offer a 10 percent military discount all year long.
8. Bandana’s Bar-B -Q: Veterans and active duty military will eat free up to $10 at Bandana’s Bar-B-Q on Veterans Day 2019. Proof of service is required.
9. Bartaco: The taco chain is offering veterans 20% off all food from November 9 to 11.
10. BJ’s Restaurant and Brew House: Veterans and active duty military will be honored with a free Dr. Pepper and entree up to $14.95 for Veterans Day 2019. Military ID or other proof of service is required to snag this deal.
11. Bob Evans: Veterans and active-duty military members are eligible to receive a free meal (breakfast is served all day, by the way) on Veterans Day at Bob Evans. Choices include the Country Biscuit Breakfast, Brioche French Toast, Stack of Hotcakes, and many more
12. Bombshells Restaurant & Bar: Veterans’ families and active service members receive free meals at Bombshells Restaurant & Bar on Veterans Day 2019.
13. Bonefish Grill: This year on Veterans Day, Bonefish Grill is honoring all active and retired service members a complimentary appetizer, such as Mussels Josephine, Calamari, Imperial Dip, or Bang Bang Shrimp.
14. Bruegger’s Bagels: Grab free bagels and cream cheese on Veterans Day with no other purchase necessary.
15. Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.: Military personnel and their families will receive 20% off their meals and retail purchases on Veteran’s Day.
16. Buffalo Wild Wings: Chicken wing-loving veterans can stop into BWW for a free order of small boneless or traditional wings and a side of french fries as part of their annual Veterans Day deal.
17. California Dreaming: Offering a free entree to veterans and active duty military with valid ID for Veterans Day 2019. Diners can choose anything from the standard menu except alcohol. Tax and gratuity are not included.
18. California Pizza Kitchen: Veterans and active U.S. military members will be able to choose a pizza, pasta, full-size salad, and beverage from CPK’s special Veterans Day Menu when they dine-in. Participating diners can also receive a “buy one, get one free” card to redeem during a return visit from November 12 through November 20. The restaurant chain will also hold a nationwide fundraiser in partnership with Disabled American Veterans (DAV) on November 7 to support essential programs and services for veterans and their families.
19. Carlo’s Bakery: The bakery from the reality TV series Cake Boss will honor veterans and active-duty military members a free large cannoli — plain or chocolate — on Veterans Day at any Carlo’s Bakery location.
20. Carolina Roadhouse: Offering a free meal, minus alcohol and items labeled A.Q., to veterans and active duty military with valid ID for Veterans Day 2019.
21. Carrabba’s Italian Grill: Starting Friday, November 8 through Monday, November 11, Carrabba’s will be offering a free order of calamari with any purchase to all veterans, active military, police officers and firefighters with a valid military ID. All restaurants also offer 10% off to all active and retired service members anytime they visit their local Carrabba’s Italian Grill.
22. Chili’s: The fast-food chain will be giving away free meals to all active military members and veterans this year. Throughout the year, Chili’s also honors our nation’s veterans and their families by partnering with organizations including Veteran Jobs Mission, Snowball Express, and Wreaths Across America.
23. Chipotle: The Mexican chain restaurant will be offering its annual Military Appreciation BOGO deal to honor military service members around the country. The promotion will be valid on burritos, bowls, salads, and taco orders, and it will be available for all active-duty military, reserves, national guard, military spouses, and retired military.
24. The Chop House: Veterans and military with valid ID or in uniform 50 percent off of their meals on Veterans Day 2019.
25. Chophouse ’47: Veterans and active duty military with valid ID can enjoy a free meal, excluding alcohol, porterhouse steaks and items labeled “A.Q.,” at Chophouse ’47 on Veterans Day 2019.
26. Chophouse New Orleans: offers a free meal to veterans and active duty military with valid ID for Veterans Day 2019. Alcohol, porterhouse steaks and items labeled A.Q. are not included.
27. Chuck E Cheese: Free personal pan pizza on Veterans Day.
28. Cicis: The pizza chain is offering veterans a free adult buffet on Veterans Day. Cicis Veterans Program also offers veterans the chance to have no franchise fee for their first restaurant and two years of no royalties.
29. City Barbeque: All locations will offer a free sandwich platter to veterans and active duty military with valid ID on Veterans Day 2019. The offer applies to dine-in as well as carry-out orders.
30. Condado Tacos: This taco joint will be offering two free tacos for military veterans and active-duty military on Veterans Day, and no other purchase is necessary. Condado Tacos will also be offering one free taco with food purchase to veterans and active military, valid year-round.
31. Connor’s Steak & Seafood: Locations offer 50 percent off of lunch or dinner entrees for veterans and active duty military for Veterans Day 2019.
32. Cotton Patch Cafe: All veterans and active duty military can get a free chicken fried steak or chicken fried chicken entree, as well as an American flag pin, at Cotton Patch Cafe locations. Cotton Patch Cafe will also introduce a 10 percent discount for veterans and active military year-round.
33. Country Cookin: Continuing its long tradition of honoring those who serve this Veterans Day. All active, reserve, retired and honorably discharged military personnel and veterans with valid military or VA ID can enjoy a free salad bar or $5 off of any entree. What’s more, on the first Thursday of every month, all police, EMS, fire and military personnel are eligible for 10 percent off of their dine in meals.
34. Country Kitchen: Veterans and active duty military can enjoy a free Country Scramble, which includes two pancakes with scrambled eggs mixed with ham and cheese, on Veterans Day 2019 at participating Country Kitchen locations.
35. Cracker Barrel: This Veterans Day, Cracker Barrel will be honoring military veterans by serving complimentary slices of Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake or Pumpkin Pie Lattes at all 660 Cracker Barrel locations nationwide. From October 28 to November 11, they will also offer $25 off all U.S. military branch-themed rocking chairs and 25% off all other military licensed products in retail stores and online. Plus, 10% of the retail sales price from eligible online and in-store purchases of wooden rocking chairs will be donated to Operation Homefront, a national military non-profit organization that aims to build strong, stable, and secure military families. The comfort food staple and country store support numerous military charities through their Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Foundation, including Fisher House Foundation, Special Operations Warrior Foundation, and The Legion Fund.
36. Denny’s: The diner-style restaurant chain is inviting all veterans and military personnel into participating Denny’s locations nationwide from 5 a.m. to noon to receive a complimentary Build Your Own Grand Slam. This dish is one of Denny’s signature breakfast entrées and includes a choice of four options from a list of more than 13 choices from fluffy buttermilk pancakes and eggs cooked to order to bacon strips and hash browns.

38. Famous Daves: Veterans and active duty military with a valid ID can get a free meal at participating Famous Dave’s this Veterans Day.
39. Farmer Boys: Veterans and active duty military with valid ID can enjoy a free cheeseburger at Farmer Boys on Veterans Day 2019.
40. Firebirds Wood Fired Grill: Veterans and active duty military with valid proof of service get a free lunch or dinner entree at Firebirds Wood Fired Grill on Veterans Day.
41. Fired Pie: On Veterans Day, veterans and active duty military with valid proof of service or are in uniform on receive a free entree at Fired Pie.
42. Fogo de Chao: The Brazilian steakhouse is offering all veterans and active duty personnel 50 percent off their entire meal on Veterans Day weekend (Friday, Nov. 8 through Monday, Nov. 11, 2019) at all U.S. and Puerto Rico locations. In addition, up to three guests (for each military veteran or personnel) will also receive 10 percent off of their meals.
43. Freddy’s: All veterans and current military personnel who visit Freddy’s on Veterans Day will receive a combo meal card that can be redeemed through November 30, 2019.
44. Friendly’s: Veterans and active military members will receive a free Veterans Day breakfast, lunch, or dinner when they dine-in at Friendly’s. The breakfast meal consists of the Big-Two-Do, which includes your choice of Brioche French Toast, two buttermilk pancakes or two slices of toast, two strips of crispy Applewood-smoked bacon or two sausage links, and a side of two made-to-order farm fresh eggs, and a coffee. For lunch and dinner, veterans and active service members get the All-American Burger (with or without cheese), served with fries and your choice of soda, iced tea, or a hot beverage.
45. Golden Corral: From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Veterans Day, Golden Corral will be offering free meals and beverages for any active or former military members as part of their annual Military Appreciation Night.
46. Grub Kitchen and Bar: On Veterans Day 2019, veterans, reserve, retired and active duty military with valid ID or wearing their uniform can enjoy a free entree at Grub Kitchen and Bar. Grub restaurants also offer a 10 percent discount year-round for veterans and active duty military personnel.

Hooters: Veterans and active duty military with military ID or proof of service can enjoy a free entree from a special Hooters Veterans Day menu with a purchase of a beverage on Veterans Day 2019. The special menu includes several Hooters favorites, including 10-Piece Traditional Wings, 10-Piece Smoked Wings, 10-Piece Boneless Wings, Hooters Burger, Buffalo Chicken Salad and Buffalo Chicken Sandwich.
49. Houlihan’s: Offering 15 percent off of meals for active duty and veteran military personnel with valid ID, and on Veterans Day 2019, they take it even further with a free meal from a select menu. Houlihan’s Veterans Day menu includes the Houlihan’s Burger, Veggie Burger, Heartland Grilled Chicken Salad (grilled or fried), Fish and Chips, Brentwood Chicken Sandwich (grilled or fried), Southwest Grilled Chicken Wrap, Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo and a 5-oz. 57. Logan’s Roadhouse: Veterans and active duty military with valid proof of service will receive a free American Roadhouse Meal on at Logan’s Roadhouse locations for Veterans Day. Logan’s Roadhouse locations will also ask customers to round up on their bills, with the proceeds going to the Folds of Honor campaign, which provides scholarships and educational opportunities to children of fallen and disabled American servicemembers. Logan’s Roadhouse has a 10 percent military and veteran discount year-round.

89. Texas Roadhouse: Active, former, or retired military members can receive a free meal at Texas Roadhouse on Veterans Day. The chain restaurant also donates 10% of all gift cards purchased to Homes For Our Troops, which builds homes for severely injured post-9/11 veterans.

19. Seaworld Parks & Entertainment Veterans Discount: Veterans and Active Duty military receive location-based discounts or free admission. Veterans promotion includes SeaWorld Orlando, SeaWorld San Antonio, SeaWorld San Diego, Busch Gardens Tampa, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, and Sesame Place Langhorne.  The program does not include Discovery Cove® in Orlando or Aquatica, SeaWorld’s Waterpark™.
20. Six Flags Over Georgia: Military Appreciation Days on Veterans Day Weekend, November 10 and 12, complimentary admission for active military members, veterans & first responders. Additionally each eligible hero may also bring up to three guests for only $50.99 each plus city fee.
21. US National Park Service Free Veterans Day Admission: The U.S. National Park Service is waiving fees at most of its day-use recreation sites over the Veterans Day holiday weekend. Go online to find a national forest or grassland near you.
22. Vermont Adaptive Ski & Resort: Veterans can participate in a free weekend retreat (8th-10th) where the group will be hiking, biking, yoga and more. According to the site, space is limited and you should place your reservation ASAP.
23. Westgate Resorts: Westgate Resorts is continuing the tradition of honoring eligible U.S. military personnel and their families by giving away 1,500 free vacations at Westgate Vacation Villas and Town Center Resort. Check back on November 11 at 9am EST to participate. Military Weekend will take place May 8 through 20, 2020.
24. World of Coca Cola: Military members (active duty, reserves and retirees) can visit World of Coca-Cola free of charge year-round, but on Veterans Day weekend we provide a special offer for up to four of their guests to purchase general admission tickets for half-price. Tickets may be purchase with a valid Armed Forces ID card at the attraction’s ticketing windows.
25. Wyndham Hotels & Resorts: Eligible military members can enjoy 15% or more off their Best Available Rate at participating Wyndham Rewards Hotels across the U.S. and Canada. Plus, Wyndham Rewards members receive 500 bonus points. Book by December 5 and complete your stay by December 6, 2019. 1. Amazon: November 6 through 11, active-duty, veterans, National Guard and Reserve personnel can sign up for a year of Prime membership for $79 ($40 in savings). New and existing Prime members can take advantage of this promotion.
2. American Family Care: Free flu shots for veterans on November 11.
3. Brides Across America:  Brides Across America holds a wedding gown giveaway for military in partnership with bridal salons across the country in November. Qualifying brides register to attend the event at a participating bridal salon by completing the registration form and paying a $40 fee.
